There are at least fifty-five miracles in the Old Testament and many supernatural interventions. In the New Testament Jesus performed thirty-seven miracles in only a three year period. We are also in wonderment at the supernatural birth, resurrection, and ascension of Christ. And to think that eternal salvation is given by the gift of faith and grace in which no other religion on earth offers unmerited salvation. The Christian Faith is clearly a religion beyond reason.
As Christians what might seem unreasonable to many – is true for us. The Holy Spirit inwardly convinces us to receive what is offered in the Word of God wether it seems reasonable or not. By faith we apprehend what we do not always comprehend. Yet, the more we know about God and what He offers and teaches in Word and Spirit the more we see how reasonable this religion beyond reason is. And the more we know about our faith the more we know how reasonable it is to be a person of faith. This is reasonable and unreasonable at the same time. Must be God!
