Wisely Judge
Should I judge the wicked?
The truly evil in the world?
Can I hope for earthly justice?
For evil and for good?
Wicked men and wicked women,
So far and few between.
Will not escape a God Who’s just,
His justice is a must.
God cannot divest Himself,
from Who He is Hisself.
Should I judge the wayward?
This I must not do.
Who am I – for if I judge.
God will judge me too.
Our Shepherd seeks the wayward.
To love them when they know.
I’ll pray for truly wayward.
Jesus said and told me so.
For others did for me.
I’m in the Shepherd’s fold.
Should I judge,
who treat me badly?
For can I really know,
if God perfecting patience,
or corrects my wayward soul?
And if I’m hurt unjustly.
Their mistake they must avenge.
They consider not my soul.
Then God will surely know.
For those who treat me badly.
I’ll pray for mercy sake,
And if I do consistently.
I’ll receive God’s mercy same.
